Brooklyn Bridge beach glass collection™ The journey of a bottle has a message all its own. It comes full circle, metaphorical of a life. Rediscovered, it gets a second chance. From sand, it is produced, used, under appreciated, tossed, broken, carted away and sometimes recycled. But, it is often dumped, only to end up in the sea once again and back into sand. Beach glass. Now, with its new identity, the glass, the former bottle, is looked upon as treasure. It is said that it takes up to a year for a shard of glass to become a piece of beach glass. It has a story. It has taken a journey. It is starting anew. It is collected, and often placed on a window sill, or in a glass jar to admire. A reminder of a happy moment, a quiet time souvenir.
